Foundations Forum provides a range of services and supports directly to people with disability, their family members, carers, support workers and human service organisations who also work with people who have mental health challenges, older people, refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and people at risk of homelessness.

- Promoting greater awareness and understanding of Social Role Valorisation theory and its related concepts.
- Conducting training events/workshops that focus on the awareness of the circumstances of people with disabilities and other people devalued by society and offer positive strategies for creating the conditions which are more likely to lead to a better life for those people.
- Sponsoring or supporting events which support people with disabilities through challenging ideas and negative paradigms around devalued people.
- Supporting individual leadership development, consistent with the principles of Social Role Valorisation.
- Nurturing and supporting the development of a network of individuals committed to promoting positive lifestyles for people with disabilities and others who are devalued or at risk of being devalued.
