Presenter John Armstrong has had a long career in human service roles, the last thirty as a human service consultant, evaluator and trainer to people, families and organisations across Australia, NZ and other parts of the world. His work is underpinned by the knowledge and application of Social Role Valorisation (SRV) which provides a practice framework for successfully transforming the lives of people who are, or at the risk of being, devalued by their communities.

Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in addressing the needs of people who are marginalised and has a commitment to positive lives for all people. The workshops are designed for individuals, families and for participants from a range of sectors (disability, education, aged care, mental health, youth, etc.).
If you are seeking ways to meet the real needs of marginalised individuals and are a support worker, teacher, coordinator, advocate, family member, person with disability or an older person receiving services, then these workshop have particular relevance.
